Due to COVID-19 travel constraints, KubeCon is being held virtually for the very first time from 17–20 August, 2020. This was a fantastic opportunity for the team at Max Kelsen to attend without the limitations of having to arrange flights, accommodation, dealing with jet lag and other cumbersome logistics. We have always held a high priority in the upskilling and professional development of our staff so that we continuously stay at the forefront of the Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) spaces. As we continue to reinvest our time through events such as KubeCon, we continue to contribute to the technical growth and innovation in not only Australia, but globally.

Our first impressions of the newly adopted virtual format was extremely positive! The interaction with presenters via Slack channels worked really well; the experience was surprisingly something you would not be able to quite get in person.
